according to me....

...today is the first day of spring! Wowee! The temperature here is well over 40 degrees and I'm soaking up all the sunshine and happiness! It feels so great.

I mean, just look at this deep blue sky and these sun-drenched apartments!

We went to the playground this morning to enjoy this first burst of warm weather we're having. Sam had a great time sliding, swinging, and playing in the sandbox. We even met a really nice family who also has an adopted little boy, so we chatted for a bit.

I made this hat with Sam a while back and then it got tucked away without him every having worn it. He colored the circles and I taped the thing together. Today he discovered it in a box and really wanted to try it on. So, we played with it for a while. That made him happy, as you can see.

Practically all he's eaten today is raisins.
Is that going to come back and haunt me later? Hmmm...
