This past weekend we drove down to MD to visit the fam! It was a great trip. We left on Thursday morning (it was Peter's spring break this week, so...) and it took us about 9 hours to get there. With little Sammy and his energy and need to move around we had to stop a few times:) Once we arrived we just had fun for the rest of the weekend. The weather was so beautiful so we spent a lot of time outside, walking, riding in the wagon to the park, finding caterpillars and making little glass jar houses for them, etc... You know, the usual spring-time activities!
We even found some time to play on Uncle John's drumset.

Here's us in our jammies before showers, combs, or breakfast even:)

Sam is rockin' out! Bonnie, you should be proud!

And here's the man of the hour, and the reason we came to Maryland this time around. My brother John has been working toward receiving the next step in his
Priesthood in
our church for the last little while. Last Sunday was the big day for him to become an Elder and to receive the
Melchizedek Priesthood. We made this trip especially for him, to support him and show him how much we love him!
So, congratulations John! We are sooo proud of you!
