Sam on our own little "private" beach we found in Provincetown (on the end tip of Cape Cod). We drove around and found a parking space across the street from this tiny beach, and we were the only ones there for a couple of hours! We had a picnic, played in the water, built sandcastles, collected seashells, and explored. It was so relaxing and warm and perfect.

View of the rocks on our little beach.

View of an old wharf and coast guard station. This was a little to the left of our beach.

Me in front of
Anne Packard's art gallery in Provincetown. I have admired her work ever since seeing it in a gallery in Newport, RI, so we had to make a point to visit while we were there. Seeing her paintings in person was really a great treat!

Race Point Lighthouse. This is just near Provincetown.

Race Point beach. We stopped here before heading back home. Sam was begging us to play in the sand one last time, so we stopped and soaked in some more sun and ocean views. Truly beautiful!

Me and Peter. When's Sam's older we'll have him take our picture:)

Sammy playing with the sand. He is headed toward becoming a beach bum I think:) He literally
rolled in the sand and got it all in his hair, diaper, etc... And he hasn't stopped talking about it since. If only there wasn't that pesky problem of sunburns, right?!

Race Point beach, with the lighthouse off in the distance (super tiny in the photo). So picturesque. Where's my bathing suit?!?!?!
