He eats the skin side first, then maybe he'll eat the sweet juicy middle. But usually he'll hand that part over to me and grab another slice to eat the skin again. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around with kids? Haha!
Today we built a city. Sam was really serious about it. He said we were building a castle. Just ignore the opposite facing stripes. He doesn't seem to mind, so why should I? :)

how funny with the apples. :) i'll clame responsibility for his actions. i didn't think something like that would be passed along. ha ha. i didn't eat apples exactly like that from what i remember when i was younger. but i would eat the middle part first so i could eat my favorite part, the skin, last. my dad was/is awesome at peeling apples in one big twisty peel. and i would love to just sit and eat it after he was done..or during if he let me.
anyway i just tried calling you, just wanted to chat for a bit. i'll try at a later time. love you so so much!
